This folding shelf has a very solid base with its 1 1/4 in. square tubing. The shelves are 1 1/4 in. angle. Very strong.
The shelves are 23.5 in. x 30 in. for the base shelf and 21.75 in. x 30 in. for the other three.
The base is 2 feet by 3 feet, with casters it is 26 in. x 38 in. It is 86 in. tall.
When dropped down to a table, it is 38 3/4 in. tall.
This unit is very sturdy standing, but a little wiggly when down as a table. It was not too wiggly to be a problem when I was using the table to plane, joint and cut. The drop down legs could use more thought.
I have the basic setup figured out, if you would like something similar, but with cheaper or more expensive parts let me know. There are more than $400 dollars worth of materials in this unit.
I could probably use 1 in. stock to bring the cost down.
Price includes stained wood and painted metal.
Does not include the tools.
